Tuesday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi extended his condolences to his counterpart Fouad Hussein on the victims of the fire that occurred at Al-Hussein Teaching Hospital.

Safadi said in a tweet on Twitter, "My deepest condolences to the brothers of Iraq on the victims of the fire at Al-Hussein Teaching Hospital."

He added, "I affirmed, in a call with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Fouad Hussein, Jordan's solidarity with the brothers in this painful incident, and its readiness to provide any required assistance under the directives of His Majesty the King. May God have mercy on the victims and bless the wounded with a speedy recovery.”

Monday, a fire that broke out in the coronavirus ward of Al-Hussein Teaching Hospital in southern Iraq, killing at least 92 people.
